You might not be able to afford a new car, but there is no reason you could not make your current car look and feel like a brand new car.

All you need for that new car feel is some spray paint, flashy wheels and a tricked-out trim job. Presto! Your old car will look brand new, or at least, a lot closer than it did before you started.
Wheels
First, customize your wheels without breaking the bank. Alloy rims could set you back thousands of dollars but you could use a few cans of high performance wheel paint to make them look awesome. Choose from steel to graphite to flat black. Pick a color that enhances the look of your ride and gives it that classy stylish look. Once you get the color you like, hit them with a nice clear coat spray to protect the new paint.
Paint
For a hot metallic textured finish inside and outside your vehicle pick up some textured metallic spray paint. You can hit your steering wheel, dashboard, cup holders and license plate frame, giving them a unique and good looking finish. Metallic paint is a one-of-a-kind look for the inside and outside of your vehicle.
Interior Surfaces
For your interior, protect the vinyl, simulated leather and fabric of seats, dashboards and door panels with a fabric and vinyl spray paint. Rust-Oleum makes a great fabric and vinyl paint that will refresh the look of your interior and give your vehicle a brand new look. Choose from an assortment of colors like flat black, sand or gray. Or go all out and try gloss red, gloss black or gloss blue!
Underbody
Once you get the parts that are easy to see it is time to start thinking about the parts that are not so easy to see. The underbody of your vehicle is constantly exposed to the elements, splashing through puddles in the spring and summer, and facing off against snow and ice and road salt in the winter. It is a rough life underneath your car and likely the first place to wear out from too much exposure.
Professional undercoating can protect your vehicle’s underbody but it will also cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. So why not do the underbody coating yourself? There are many great products on the market that provide a protective layer of underbody coating between your vehicle and the elements. These products go on thick and heavy and build a barrier between your car body and what will eat it away.
So, before you even think about buying a new car, start thinking about how to care for the one you have.
